Biden entered September with $466 million, the marketing campaign mentioned — outpacing Trump
Biden gained a big money lead final month due to a record-breaking fundraising increase, coming into September with a staggering $466 million in comparison with Trump’s $325 million, based on figures from the campaigns.
The most recent cash-on-hand figures mark the primary time Biden has gained a money benefit over Trump by posting a $141 million lead, a shocking reversal of marketing campaign assets buoyed final month by his vice-presidential announcement, the Democratic Nationwide Conference and an aggressive fundraising schedule that includes high-profile surrogates.
In the meantime, Democratic donors posted a document in low-dollar contributions this weekend, spurred by the dying of Supreme Courtroom Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal icon.
Since Ginsburg’s dying Friday night, Democratic donors have given greater than $100 million by ActBlue, the web fundraising platform for Democrats and left-leaning organizations, based on the group.
