Seattle protest: 10 individuals arrested after some set fires or hurled rocks at officers, police say

On Saturday night, some protesters “wound their means by way of town inflicting injury alongside the best way,” the Seattle Police Division tweeted.

Police stated they issued a dispersal order to the group, who defied the order and as an alternative began throwing rocks, bottles and fireworks at officers.

SPD stated they used blast balls to push the group again, permitting the Seattle Hearth Division entry to place the fires out.

The 10 individuals arrested had been charged with failure to disperse, assault and property injury.

Some protesters threw fireworks, rocks, glass bottles and even a fire extinguisher, police said.
A number of the companies broken in current days have been longtime supporters of the Black Lives Matter motion, CNN affiliate KOMO reported.
Shiva Hippely, proprietor of Pure Barre Capitol Hill, posted a photograph Saturday after the home windows had been smashed within the earlier evening.
